Friesian horses with above-average scores on aptitude tests will be awarded a predicate. The KFPS Member Council gave the green light for this decision at the meeting of the Member Council on Friday November 22nd.
A, AA and AAA
The predicates are awarded to horses who have completed an ABFP Test, a CE and an IBOP. With a score between 73 and 77 the horses receive the suffix A,
between 77 and 82 the suffix is AA and when the score is 82 or higher the suffix is AAA. Awarding of this predicate with a suffix will be done with retroactive effect.
New Chairman
At the Meeting of the Member Council two people took their farewell. For Margriet van der Weide this was her last meeting, she has completed her term. Chairman Bert Wassenaar has also passed on the baton. Wiebe Wieling is the new frontman of the KFPS. Wieling is known as Chairman of De Friesche Elf Steden (Skating tour in Friesland, ed.) and has been Chairman of the once so successful Indoor Friesland. Wieling owns a Friesian horse, a 22-year-old daughter by Heinse 354.
