At this moment the KFPS is not able to issue passports. The red covers which bind all the pages in the passport together are currently not available. Other equine studbooks are faced with the same problem. The red covers are provided by RVO (National Authority for Businesses in the Netherlands, ed.) and the RVO hopes the problems (supply of covers) will be solved by the beginning of June.
Covers available again from early June
If you have already received and paid an invoice then hopefully you will receive the passport in early June. We, the KFPS, hope for your understanding. For the sake of standardisation and acknowledging of studbooks the decision was taken in the Netherlands to use these red covers, so they are commonly used by many Dutch studbooks.
