In Wergea on Friday the 23rd of June the Second Chance was on the agenda for stallions who took part in the First Viewing of last year’s Stallion Inspection but failed to receive an invitation for the Central Examination. Also those stallions who participated in last year’s Central Examination but weren’t approved, or who were rejected on the last leg of the Presentation Days, were given the opportunity of a second chance. Out of in total nine presented stallions one stallion won himself a referral to the Presentation Days.

Under saddle

The stallions were all presented under saddle in front of the Jury, which consisted of Piet Bergsma, Corrie Terpstra and Ellen van Gastel. The presentation was followed by a clinical examination and exterior assessment. Catalogue number 2, Jasper Star (Alwin 469 x Pier 448) received an invitation, provided he can meet all requirements for participation.

Jasper to Nunspeet

This 4-year-old Alwin 469 offspring was bred by J. Loopers in Alteveer and is owned by R.J. Vos from Wijk en Aalburg. At the First Viewing of the 2022 Stallion Inspection Jasper was declared Star and he took part in last year’s Presentation Days. Back then as well as today he was presented by Marijke Boelen. The stallion is scheduled to join on the second Presentation Day in Nunspeet on Friday the 14th of July.
