Multifunctional Friesians

Just like people, horses can have day jobs, as is showcased by the stunning Friesians of London- based T. Cribb & Sons, Funeral Directors and Carriage Masters.

From wedding to funeral

From their family stables in Essex, this family uses Friesian horses for a variety of activities, including funerals with horse-drawn hearses. They offer a wide choice of perfectly authentic, heritage carriages to suit every event one might wish for: ranging from weddings, shows, private or corporate occasions. Drawn by beautifully turned-out Friesians their traditional carriages and coaches guaranteed turn the eyes of all spectators!

But it doesn´t end there. They may be working horses on weekdays, it´s show time at weekends! In early May their Head coachman Peter Gibson and groom Lee Cross went to the Royal Windsor Horse Show and came back as the 2019 Champions of their class.
Showing horses is hugely popular in the UK with categories for many types and breeds of horses.
And yes, our Friesians do it with flair! Working on weekdays and winning at weekends: they truly are a wonderfully multifunctional breed!
