Sibald 380 passed away at the age of 26

Aged 26, Sibald 380 passed away in America on September the 22nd. Since he was a 6-year-old this KFPS Studbook stallion had been stationed in America at Leyendekker Friesians in California, where he was stable mate to Haike 482.

Twenty years in the USA

At his birth in the Huug van Dijk family yard in Delfgauw, Sibald 380 was given the name of Quinthus, pedigree 25. As a 3-year-old he successfully completed his Central Examination, in 2004 he was approved on offspring. This stallion is a son of Sierk 326, his dam is Berlinda H Star Preferent, herself a Leffert 306 daughter and 3rd dam of Auwert 514. Sibald 380’s granddam (Oege 267) and 3rd dam (Naen 264) are also Star Preferent.

One Crown, one Preferent

Sibald 380 has produced 657 offspring, with a Star score of 24%. Twelve of his offspring have obtained the Sport predicate. He has one Crown mare, Canada-born Renske Nynke Crown AA (damsire Jillis 301) and one Preferent mare: Freke M. Star Sport Preferent (damsire Hearke 254).
