Overall Champion of the Mare Show East: Gypsy KCF Crown AA (Hessel 480)

At the Mare Show on October 17th the judges Wil Thijssen and Frans Smits chose the 4-year-old Gypsy KCF Crown AAA (Hessel 490 x Tonjes 459) as Overall Champion. Jack Vanderkooy’s mare from Kettle Creek Friesians acquired her Crown predicate with an IBOP of 80 points in August of this inspection season. She became Breeding Day Champion at the inspection in Ontario.

Reserve Overall Champion was Johanna Tineke of Swan Lake Preliminary Crown (Norbert 444 x Wierd 409)

Closure of a busy and great inspection season

The Mare Shows represent the closure of a busy inspection season in North America. Because of the ‘Corona backlog’ many horses had been signed up for all categories and the judges saw a lot of fine horses. Gypsy became the Overall Champion, the Reserve Title went to the Champion of the younger mare category: Johanna Tineke of Swan Lake Preliminary Crown (Norbert 444 x Wierd 409). Chris Piovarchy’s 3-year-old mare had become Breeding Day Champion in Springfield at the end of September.
