Jan Veldhuis resigned as KFPS director on Thursday morning, October 5. He has held the roles of secretary, vice-chairman and acting chairman since the departure of two other board members.
Below is the official response from Jan Veldhuis to the chairman of the members’ council and the chariman of the confidencel committee.
In my capacity as director of the KFPS, I am submitting my resignation with immediate effect. I will not provide any explanation about my reasons, either in writing or orally.
I would like to thank my co-director Miel Janssen, director Marijke Akkerman and the very hardworking, warm and loving team at the KFPS office. They gave me their unconditional support and trust until the very end. That’s what matters to me!
